R-E-S-P-E-C-T means-
R-eserve your thoughts. If you think something about someone, their art, their role-playing ect and you know it'll hurt their feelings, don't say it!

E-veryone is equal, you are not better than someone because you write 100 more words than them. It doesn't matter, we're all humans.

S-peak to everyone, don't reserve your time only to those you role-play with. Everyone is here to make friends. And certainly don't ignore anyone.

P-ractice what you preach, if you say something about someone's role-playing, behaviour, art ect, make sure you follow your own rules, or you might offend them.

E-at your own words. If you do manage to get in an argument with someone, don't let it boil away inside of you. Just apologise, they're only words on a screen, but someone somewhere is very hurt by what you've said so say sorry.

C-ourtesy is a virtue, don't be rude! That includes using bad language. You can swear all you like IC(in character) but never ever swear directly at someone OOC(out of character).

T-reat staff members with the up most respect, and listen to what they have to say. The staff are there to make sure that you and everyone else is having a safe, fun time, and if they say you're breaking a rule, just stop what it was you were doing and don't argue. It'll make our time here better for everyone.

Roleplay Rules

1. This is a real life, prison/mental hospital roleplay site so please don't have any of your characters with magic powers and things that no teenage human could have or do, keep it real life.

2. Keep families realistic, like don't have both parents in jail and your character to be famous and everything, just keep it realistic : )

3. Real life situtaions can happen, so sex is okay, just don't go overboard with it. You will be asked to edit if it is too much, none of us really want to every detail and please put a warning in the title of some sort.

4. Swearing is allowed, only in character, but please don't have too much swearing, it's not nice for every second of third word your character says is a swear word, it just shows how incompetant they are.

5. There is a minumim of 300-400 word post requirement for threads, to be honest, it's not that hard to get to that amount of words. If you continually post below this you will be notified to make them longer.

6. All roleplay posts should be in 3rd person; eg. Holly did this, Holly did that; not I did this, I did that.

7. You can create as many threads as you want but make sure you can keep up with them all, it's not very nice if you focus on one thread with one character(s) and leave the other ones, no matter how 'interesting and dramatic' they may be. We want as many complete threads as possible, dead threads aren't very helpful to anybody.

8. Please use spell check before you post any replies, it's better if words are spelled correctly.

9. No god-modding whatsoever, this is where you take over somebody else's character. We all have our own characters and only the creater of that character should have control of them.

10. Try to complete your thread, it's not very helpful to leave a dead thread or not finish it, why start it if you're not going to finish it?

General Rules

1. When choosing your face claim make sure they actually sort of look like the age range they're supposed to be apart of, we dont want a celebrity in their thirties playing a sixteen year old.

2. You can create as many characters as you like but make sure you can handle that many characters, we don't want you having five or six characters and only using one or two, we know that can happen, but please try to keep on top of it.

3. When creating your character(s) you have five days to complete the application, afterwards it will be send to the unaccepted applications board, it's not that hard to complete an application in that amount of time.

4. Only have one character per account, make separate accounts for each character.

5. Please consider your character(s) to be apart of different cliques and years, we don't need an overflow of seniors- Freshmen and Sophomores and be just as good as Seniors and we don't need loads of emos or rebels when there are lots of different cliques, spread them out a bit.

6. We don't want any fighting of any sort, if it be in the chat box or via PM message. Please resolve any silly arguments in a grown up way and if you continue to argue or fight with other members you will be warned and if it still continues you will be banned form the site.

7. If you are going away for a certain amount of time, please leave a message in the abscene thread or PM the Admin, Amy 'Holly Kennedy' with a message. Rules word is; Reckless.

8. This site is rated PG-13 to NC-17 so most things go, eg. sex, drugs and rock n roll etc etc.

9. All character signatures must be no bigger than 500x300, otherwise they get too big and are just annoying. If you have a specific signature you want to use that extends these measurements then request to have it made smaller in the graphics section, found in the extras OOC category.

10. Don't post anything until you have been accepted and colored in, it's just nice that way.

11. After two weeks and you haven't logged in or made yourself known and havent posted in the absence plot we will assmue you have vanished and your account(s) will subsequently be deleted but you are welcome to re-make your account(s) if you decide to return.

12. When You have made two characters that are inmates and are looking for a third you must make a staff member so that we have an equal balance, we don't need an overflow of inmates and hardly any staff members.

13. When choosing your characters conditions/ disorders or illnesses please only keep it to only one major and or or two minors, having more than one major isn't very realistic.

14. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT request somebody to rp with you in the cbox. It's hugely annoying and it can ultimately stop anybody else from talking on the cbox which isn't good for the rest of us. Don't whine about not having somebody to rp with. Make a thread and put an open tag on it, if somebody wants to rp with you then they will join your open thread. Also, DO NOT shout out your open thread in the cbox, that's just desperate. People will see your thread and will join it if they want.
