DESCRPTION
As a relatively small person Riley has always been underestimated. Everyone thinks because she is only five feet tall and roughly a hundred pounds that she is harmless. It doesn't help that he big clear blue eyes are practically screaming innocent. Usually she dies her hair to keep people guessing in hopes that she doesn't seem like a cute little harmless girl.
Usually she wears bright colors and extreme outfits. Functionality isn't even a word when it comes to describing Riley's wordrobe. She loves to wear bright tights and dresses with highheels or boots and ripped jeans with a lot of jewelry. Nothing Riley does or wears is boring in the slightest.

OVERALL PERSONALITY[/b]
▪
There is nothing Riley hates more is to be underestimated. She doesn't like it when people judge her by her exterior appearances and think she is weak in small. So she tends to put off a tough vibe and hope that makes up for her not so tough looks.
When Riley isn't angry or upset she is usually rather skittish. She doesn't like being touched due to her past abuse by her father. Being trusting isn't another one of her personality traits so she tends to not disclose any information that isn't necessary. Riley is very guarded and will rarely let somebody see what she truly is thinking.
However Riley does have the tendancy to get angry. Usually when she is in a very bad mood she'll snap at just about anything. When she snaps it tends to come out in her pouncing or screaming, usually both. Her normal sort of angry just earns people glares and nasty remarks. She tries to hold back her anger with shaking fists, but it hasn't been too successful.
On a normal day Riley tries to stay in the background. She doesn't like associating with other people beacuse other people tend to tick her off and vice versa. But trying isn't the same as doing. Being very vocal about her feelings Riley will voice her oppinions even if it pisses a few people off.
Deep deep down Riley is a relatively sweet girl. That is very very very deep down. It would be considered a miracle to see Riley be nice. There was a time when Riley was a nice normal girl, but that was in the past and Riley doesn't dwell on the past.

On a very happy April 3, 16 years ago Riley Ann McNeely was born to Corrine and Kyle McNeely. Riley was brought up in a relatively normal home. Her father brought in a steady income and her mom stayed home to take care of her and work as a waitress a few nights a week. It was a pretty normal life until Riley turned 5.
The normality in her life was brought to an end about a week after Riley's fifth brithday. Her father came home red in the face smelling strongly of alcohol. He came in screaming about how he lost his steady job and blaming everybody else in the world except himelf. Riley was scared and didn't like her dad like this. Eventually her mom got her dad to calm down relatively and go to bed after some food. However Riley would always remember that day as when her life turned into hell.
At first her father's drinking turned into one beer a night then gradually got worse. By the end of the year her father was a full fledge alcoholic drinking anything he could get his hands on. It took a year for her father to become like that and Riley hoped that it was the worse he'd ever get, but she was wrong.
Eventually he began to get angrier and angrier. When the days were really bad and her mother was barely pulling their way on the money she earned being a waitress, full time, her father would take the anger out on her mom. Blaming her mother for not working enough to keep the family afloat or the dwindling supply of beers in the refridgerator. This is when Riley learned that she hated her father.
When her mother began taking even more shifts at the diner, if that was even possible, she was home less and less. It was like she was hiding from her father and she probably was. So with her mother rarely around Riley became the new target for her fathers anger. Riley learned to hide from her father and what not to say around him to make him mad. It still wasn't enough to keep his fist away from her.
Of course her mother tried to take most the beatings when she was around but with Corinne working so much it was a hard thing to do to protect Riley from everyone of her father's bad days. The bad days lasted for 10 years. Ten years of Riley's life was spent being scared and afraid of any authority figure at all.
Then one day when Riley was fifteen she went to school and was called into the principal's office. Immediately Riley began to think of what she did wrong. She was scared when she walked into the office and noticed that a cop was sitting in the corner. Riley sat down and listened to the principal tell her that a student in her gym class had noticed bruises all over her and continued to question her if her family was hurting her. Riley couldn't help but want to kick herself for changing when she thought everyone else was gone from the locker rooms.
The principal continued to talk and then asked her to show him her arms from under her usual layers of long sleeves. Immediately Riley began to panic and ask for her mother. They couldn't find out, they couldn't. That was all Riley thought because she knew if her father found out that the school knew hell would be to pay when she got home.
Once when her mother arrived she swiftly explained that Riley had an accident while doing carrying the laundry up the steps to her room and fell down the steps and how Riley was too embarrassed to tell them. Suspiciously the principal dismissed Riley and let her go for the day. Riley was relieved, but not for long.
When she arrived home she soon discovered that the principal had left a message for her mom on the answering machine at home... and her father had heard it. It was the worst beating Riley had ever recieved and she couldn't hold back her screams as her father couldn't hold back his anger. Before she knew what was happening the cops arrived and put her father in hadcuffs and took him to prison and her to the hospital.
Riley spent two weeks in the hospital while they tried to fix her broken limbs and cracked ribs. Thats when Riley learned to hate the world that made everyone afraid to be near her, like she would break or snap like her father did. Her anger began to seep out and she took it out on others and she tried not to dwell on how much she was like her father. At times Riley would sneak some alcohol in and get drunk to wash out the anger and pain she felt. She wasn't depressed in a sense she was just angry at everyone and everything.
Then on the fateful day that Riley went to school a little buzzed from a breakfast of two beers. A teacher started asking her questions about the assignment, that she didn't do. As the teacher went on and on about how she couldn't have special treatment anymore because a year had past and it was time to move on Riley snapped. The teacher had crossed the line and Riley stood up and hit him square in the face and over and over until the school security came and later the cops. The judge decided to send Riley to Michigan State to live out her punishment for assualt and underage drinking.
