War... war never changes.
On October 23, 2077, nuclear bombs were dropped all across the world. The bombing in America lasted only two hours, but was immensely destructive. All of the people who did not heed the air raid sirens and take cover in a vault were dead within minutes.
Most of the vaults opened up after period of twenty years, and the human civilization slowly began to rebuild itself. The denizens of the remains of America, aptly renamed the Wasteland, had many setbacks. Food and water were irradiated and animals had mutated into frightening and disgusting new creatures. There was also a lack of a uniform government, and the country fell into anarchy.
But the story does not end there, for the struggle for survival is a war without end, and war... war never changes. |
